Brittany's Journey in Dentistry
Early Beginnings
- 2006: Began working in a small, family dental practice at 16 years old. Learned the basics of dentistry, including anatomy and procedures.
Professional Growth in Baltimore
- 2008: Moved to Baltimore, MD, to work at K. Michael Murphy and Associates. Spent nearly 10 years learning from a distinguished prosthodontist.
- 2009: Introduced to Cerec full system milling, igniting a passion for digital dentistry.
- 2017: Began 3D printing, expanding technical skills.
- Front Desk Duties: Gained experience in insurance and medical billing for obstructive sleep apnea.
Advancing Skills at Smile Solutions of Baltimore
- 2019: Joined Smile Solutions of Baltimore, a fee-for-service practice. Advanced skills in digital dentistry under Dr. Ritter's mentorship.
- Full Mouth Rehabs: Regularly conducted full mouth rehabs, leveraging digital blueprints for successful treatment planning and execution.
- Inspired to Dream: Dr. Ritter encouraged dreaming big and taking chances, rekindling the dream of becoming a trainer and consultant.
Expanding Horizons with Henry Schein
- 2022: Moved to Nashville, TN, to become a "Digital Success Partner" with Henry Schein. Trained offices across the state and beyond on intraoral scanners and 3D printers.
- Equipment Portfolio: Expanded knowledge of various digital dental equipment, building numerous industry connections.
Launching "Up a Notch Dentistry LLC"
- August 2024: Founded Up a Notch Dentistry LLC, investing in self and family. The business allows for greater reach to offices in need and more family time.
